Role: Full-stack developer — mobile app development, backend services, and AI-powered matching logic.
Tech stack details are outlined below.
Overview
Masha is a faith-based matrimonial platform that pairs modern matching technology with Islamic values, giving families a real voice in the partner-selection process. The app is live on Google Play and partners with Muslim Pro and Islamic scholars to keep the experience aligned with Islamic principles.
Technical highlight: Designed the AI compatibility meter's scoring pipeline and the guardian-access permission model powering Wali & Family Mode.
The Result
Shipped a production Android app on Google Play offering verified, values-based matchmaking with family involvement built into the core flow.
The Problem
Muslim singles needed a trustworthy matchmaking experience that respects Islamic courtship norms — verified identities, family involvement, and compatibility grounded in faith and values rather than swipe-based dating mechanics.
The Solution
Built a React Native app backed by a Node.js/Firebase services layer, with profile verification, a Wali & Family Mode for guardian participation, and AI-driven compatibility scoring based on faith, lifestyle, and values.
